Originally for the 50 shoe challenge, but I got held up and never published this. This must have been sitting in my drafts for over a year, and it's funny how well it still falls within my tastes.
What I said about Givenchy's carpopedal offerings? Same goes for Tom Ford. Yoinks! Are they sandals? Are they heels in bondage? Are they scandalously cut boots?
Givenchy's shoe offerings are insane. I love the geometric heel with the humongo PVC strap. Naturally, I paired the PVC shoe with a PVC clutch. Despite the accessories, the true star of the outfit is definitely the sweater dress.
Hey y'all, it's been another long break from Polyvore for me. Thought I'd left for good this time. This here's not just double denim; if you look closely it's TRIPLE denim. I've been appreciating the denim jacket as a layering staple, though only from afar as I don't own one.
I've survived my first semester of college and this unprecedented month-long winter break is seriously strange. I find that my style has taken a turn for the simple since before I left for school, I pared my closet down to a few basics (I'm lazy and hate moving large objects).
Drop-waist dresses are one of the few silhouettes I haven't tried. And with my new haircut (more deets later), I think it'd look a bit flapper-esque. I'm loving that thought.
Between my last set and this one, I got a drastic haircut. My neck is bared, my forehead is now partially obscured by choppy baby bangs, and I guess you could call it a shaggy bowl cut. It's too bad I have to grow it out for my dance recital next year! (I'll cut it right back afterwards.)
It looks like a lot of black, but considering how much skin is bared, it's really not all that heavy-looking. On a side note, I'm intrigued by Tom Ford's fragrances.
Logic brings me up into the cosmos, superstition brings me back down. My mind and body are separated by lightyears. I'm of many contradictions, but that's the human condition, I suppose.
